An IoT system for counting production
With a student team, I built and put into service an IoT system that automatically counted and displayed production at a working screw factory, where it had been counted by eye.

What I did
Got communication stable despite how hostile the factory floor was to it.
Built everything from the link through recording to display, and got it running in the actual factory.
Choices I made
Used a dust network to cope with the conditions on the floor.
Instead of listing numbers, laid the graphs over the floor plan of the machines.
Kept refining it on feedback from the floor.
